Kalvebod Huse – 1.4: A recreational shortcut
A pathway leads you into the courtyard to enter a shortcut running along the backyards of the building structure. The cosy backyards belonging to each terraced house are made private and intimate with a lush vegetation shielding the passage, however residents can still enter the passage directly from their garden and join the recreational areas that are placed in each end of the courtyard. The planters along the backyards provide a visual repetition throughout the courtyard and creates coherence.
