AS32 masterplan

The project consists of a number of independent buildings that are located under a common architectural language. The buildings are located in a strict grid structure with varying heights and volumes and will thus appear with a distinctive identity in relation to the surrounding buildings. The diversity is further enhanced by the detail of the individual buildings. The design and composition form a vertical movement achieved through a varied pattern of window frames, which in some places extend over two floors.

The office building on Amager Strandvej 32 is intended as a modern and innovative office environment, both in function and design must be the link between the future development to the west and Amager Strandpark in the east. The design of the building must create open passages and thus clear lines of movement between Amager Strandvej and Amagerbanen. The office building will give the neighborhood an architectural boost and also increase the activity and life in the area. With the divided volumes, the decomposed scale, and the clear architectural language, the construction will harmonize with the surroundings and lift the neighborhood with the possibility of residence and movement.
