Kirkebjerg masterplan

Kirkebjerg Søpark has previously housed a large concrete factory building with associated smaller commercial buildings.

The total area of Kirkebjerg Søpark is approx. 46,400 m2.

Kirkebjergs cityscape today, is described by a variation of many textures and materials that patinate well, including red brick facades and steel details. The buildings follow a tight, geometric design language. Horizontal bands of white and dark windows and doors create contrast and variety. With clear references to this industrial character, the choice of materials for Kirkebjerg will draw threads back to the materiality that once was typical to the industrial site, while at the same time introduce greenery and modern features.
