Buddinge Health and Employment House

The landscape at Buddinge Health and Employment Center will intertwine between the buildings of the new Health and Employment Center and the neighbouring plot as a lush wedge that connects the residential area with Buddinge Station, and will function as a unifying element for the different sub-areas. The landscape focuses on ensuring a harmonious scale transition between the contrasting surroundings – Buddingevej to the west, which is large and wide, and the residential area to the east, which is low and dense. Furthermore, the focus is on creating an urban space with a robust planting strategy that relates to local biotopes, as well as relating to functions, materials and the design of the open ground floors inside the house. Everything must contribute to a diverse and dynamic city life at Buddinge Byport with a strong identity and a unified whole, which invites an active everyday life, as well as bringing together social and cultural initiatives.
