CIEE: Green study rooms

Elkhorn fern, Waxplant and Angel wings, define an interior landscape, that meets a new furniture landscape, in an old historic building.

Well-functioning study frames, based on the Nordic light and the seasons’ colors, are the goal of the interior design of the centrally located CIEE in Copenhagen. Our collaboration with Danielsen Spaceplanning around CIEE’s new facilities, in a historic property on Kultorvet, is about justifying the refurbished premises in order to put the finishing touch in an inspiring study environment.

Our focus in the interior landscape is to create beautiful spatial effects, among other things, with plants like Golden polypody and Cactus. Carefully selected plants, that are suitable for the different lighting conditions and which meet the desired operation. At the same time, the project has centered on the aesthetic appearance of the plants, in the form of colors and leaf types, where Waxplants and Angel wings are part of a design context with the study environment that Danielsen Spaceplanning has prepared.
