(A project done in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects).
There is space for community life, play and relaxation in Enebærbo’s green and lush landscape. The courtyard’s main highlights are abundant green hills, beds and hedges that act as edges for the courtyard’s many functions – all from private terraces and green common areas, to waste management, good accessibility to and from the dwellings, and parking possibilities for bikes and cars.
From all ground floor apartments there is direct access to private terraces, which have a visual connection and access to the rest of the courtyard. In the wide common area, intimate spaces are created with hills covered in meadow grass and flower beds with trees, bushes and perennials. Along these edges you can play and move on the integrated natural play-course as well.
Close to the entrances of the courtyard and dwellings, facilities like waste management and parking areas are placed. Visually these functions are integrated into the courtyard’s otherwise green and lush look.
Outwards, the building is neighboring a beautiful green pathway. Here the ground floor apartments have the possibility to interact with the street-life from their own raised terraces or small gardens, reflecting the same green and lush look at level with the inside of the courtyard.
